Drama

Suitable for anyone interested in theatre, students can get involved in all aspects of the creative process. Working as a group, students are guided by our teacher to create, design, produce and star in their own production and will have the opportunity to work with a specialist theatre make-up artist.

Acting exercises to develop voice projection and improvisation will be explored and participants will learn to convey emotions and narratives effectively as well as how to use physical expression to enhance the audience's understanding and engagement. Reflecting both during and after the creative process is vital, and participants will consistently assess their work, refine their techniques, and improve future performances or projects.

Drama is thriving at Charterhouse and we want to extend this passion to our summer school students. We have a state-of- the-art theatre and excellent technical support to assist students in bringing their production to life on-stage.
